Since the release of Titanfall for the Xbox 360, we’ve been blown away by the reaction from fans across the world. It’s clear that the hard work from both Respawn and Bluepoint has paid off with hours of fun on the frontier for everyone. Just like the Xbox One and PC versions, we are fully committed to supporting the Xbox 360 version and to ensure that regardless of what platform you play Titanfall on, the experience is as good as can be.
We’re pleased to confirm that Bluepoint continues their partnership with us to support the Xbox 360 version. We have them following Respawn’s lead bringing updates and improvements to the Xbox 360. This will include free updates including further enhancements to Private Matches and more as well as paid DLC including the upcoming release of Titanfall: Expedition. We’re definitely listening to your feedback, so keep it coming.
Updates for the Xbox 360 will naturally follow behind similar updates for the PC and Xbox One. This timing difference is due to the same reasons that more time was needed to finish Titanfall for the Xbox 360. Respawn must first finish their additions and improvements for the Xbox One and PC, and afterwards Bluepoint can then grab the latest and update the Xbox 360 version. We’re working with Respawn and Bluepoint to streamline the process and close the gap, allowing Xbox 360 updates to be published as closely as possible to Respawn’s updates.
Right now the Bluepoint team is bringing over changes included in the Xbox One’s Content Update 2 while also working on the Expedition DLC. We asked them to split the CU2 into two parts, which includes the update to the Gooser challenge that recently went live, with the rest of the changes becoming available soon.
The first DLC for Titanfall, Expedition, is coming to the Xbox One and PC in May, and will appear on Xbox 360 in June. We’ll keep you posted on more news and info regarding Titanfall for the Xbox One, PC and Xbox 360 but until then we’ll see you on the frontier!
